Artistic Residencies & Commissioned Work

with Barbara Lima

For the past decade, artistic residencies have been an essential part of my work as a choreographer and educator. They provide spaces for cultural exchange, collaboration, and for students to experience both the rigor and the joy of the artistic process—discovering how to bring an idea to life through movement.

My approach weaves Contemporary and Urban Dance with the richness of Brazilian culture and improvisation, offering dancers new tools to develop autonomy in their craft and to uncover their unique artistic voice.

I thrive in the unknown, the shapeless, and the formless. I aim my arrow to where vulnerability meets empowerment—and that’s where the artist must go.
